Company History
1967
AprilYukio Sato, a light bulb engineer, founded a manufacturer of filaments for electron microscopes in Hamamatsu-cho Minato-ku Tokyo.
In the same year, the Daiwa Electronics Co., Ltd. Machida Research Institute was established in Machida-city, Tokyo. The company was capitalized at 1 million JPY.
1980
FebruaryThe Machida Research Institute building was relocated to its current address.
1981
Started aperture plate business using fine hole manufacturing technology by etching.
1983
MayHead Office was relocated to its current address, and merged with Machida Research Institute. Increased capital to 4 million JPY.
1986
JuneExpanded Head Office.
1989
MayMito Sales Office opened in Mito-city, Ibaraki Prefecture.
1994
AprilIn order to expand the company’s business, the company was expanded, and the name of the company was changed from Daiwa Electronics Co., Ltd. to Daiwa Techno Systems Co., Ltd. to strengthen the organization. Increased capital to 12 million JPY.
1995
Developed micro-hole machining and mirror finishing technology with micro electrical discharge machining.
2002
MayCompleted expansion of the current Head Office building.
2005
FebruaryDeveloped special film deposition (osmium coating) technology with CVD processing.
2008
JuneCompleted our second building.

AprilIncreased capital to 50.1 million JPY.

AprilHeld festival to celebrated the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding.
