Features of Daiwa Techno Systems filaments for GC-MS

Features of Daiwa Techno Systems filaments for GC-MS
  • Wire diameter, winding diameter, number of turns, pitch, and freely designed coil filament provide stable and abundant emissions. Materials other than W, such as Re, Re-W and Ta, can be used.
  • Shield parts are also welded.
  • Non-magnetic high melting point metals are preferable for filament electrode pins, but at Daiwa, Ta, etc. can also be selected. Shield parts can also be welded to pins.

Frequently asked questions about filament manufacturing for GC-MS

Can you make filaments for the equipment I am currently using?

開く

Please contact the equipment manufacturer or dealer. In the case of equipment which is no longer supported because the manufacturer has withdrawn from the business, it is the customer’s own responsibility. However, please contact us to discuss part restoration.

Tungsten filaments react with gas used in GC-MS analysis, and therefore tend to have a short life.

開く

Tungsten (W) is the most common filament material, but we also specialize in machining materials with high corrosion resistance such as rhenium (Re), rhenium tungsten alloy (Re-W), and tantalum (Ta).

I want to use a non-magnetic metal with high melting point, but can’t find a company who can weld it.

開く

Materials that can be heated to high temperatures are also difficult to weld. Daiwa has experience in welding filaments of various materials. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Emissions are unstable during use due to deformation such as sagging.

開く

Even with the same material, stability fluctuates depending on the machining technology employed. This is an aspect that cannot be determined from dimensions and shape alone.

We would like to see more flexibility with design changes at the equipment development stage.

開く

Please feel free to contact us. Our experienced technical sales staff will do their utmost to meet your expectations.

I’m having problems because brazed parts are so expensive.

開く

We have parts that we assemble with glass material. Heat resistance performance will drop, but the unit price and delivery time are greatly advantageous. Please give some thought to the use of glass material. Our experienced technical sales staff will do their utmost to meet your expectations.

In the rapidly evolving semiconductor field, leave all your parts for ultra high tech equipment to Daiwa.

In the rapidly evolving semiconductor field, leave all your parts for ultra high tech equipment to Daiwa.

As semiconductor processes become more compact and three-dimensional, manufacturing equipment and inspection equipment are rapidly becoming more sophisticated.
Please contact us if experiencing problems with high-precision parts used in drawing equipment, analytical equipment, inspection equipment, ion implantation equipment, or film formation equipment, etc., especially charged particle beam optical parts or ionization process parts, etc. We can also accept products that require demagnetization annealing or sputtering.

Many filaments are also used in production lines for industrial products.

Many filaments are also used in production lines for industrial products.

Filaments are often used in the aluminum coated bags that protect foods that are familiar to us in our daily lives, in the coating of smartphone lenses that make Social media look good, and in the production lines that manufacture these products.
Daiwa supports industrial products that enrich the lives of society, such as high-current filaments for electron beam deposition for industrial equipment, sensing filaments for atmospheric control, and special parts subjected to heat treatment and surface polishing to reduce the release of gases that can lead to a drop in quality. Our micropore machining technology is also being applied to control trace gas, pressure control orifices, and artificial defects for data samples.
